God of War Ragnarok on PS4 is about 90 GB; Size may Differ for PS5

God of War Ragnarok is an incredibly detailed game with new realms, intense combat sequences, resilient villains, and more. The game will wrap up Kratos’ Norse Saga, who will face Thor at some point in the game.

Sony has updated the download page for God of War Ragnarok on PS4 and the file size is massive, even more so than expected.

God of War Ragnarok

Reportedly, the file for God of War Ragnarok is measured to be 90.6GB. Ragnarok is twice as big as its predecessor since the first God of War was around 45GB.

Keep in mind, this will most likely be changed ahead of the game’s final launch and that the file size for PS5 may differ as PS5 games tend to be smaller than their PS4 counterparts.

Twitter user @PlaystationSize pointed out that the PKG sizes need not be accurate in most cases, and this can vary from region to region. Unfortunately, the news remains unconfirmed as Sony patched the user’s information source.

God of War Ragnarok is a high-quality game so the 90GB size does seem right. From the little snippets of gameplay we have seen so far, the complex design of the game is evident.

God of War Ragnarok

God of War Ragnarok will be one of the biggest games of 2022. It is expected to be a strong contender for Game of the Year along with Elden Ring at several events.

God of War Ragnarok releases November 9 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
