Gotham Knights will Feature 4K Resolution, Ultra-Wide Support & More

Gotham Knights is WB Montreal’s upcoming standalone Batman co-op game from the popular Arkham series. The studio’s last release was Batman: Arkham Origins, which was launched in 2013. 

Gotham Knights dropped a new trailer displaying the game’s PC-exclusive features such as ray tracing capabilities, Intel’s new XeSS technology, ultra-wide monitor support, and more.

Players can expect to see upscaling technologies at work with higher resolutions, higher frame rates, and increased fidelity. The game will also support NVIDIA’s DLSS 2.0 and AMD’s FSR 2.0 upscaling tech. Observant fans can notice the Dynamic Resolution options and a Field of View slider in the PC settings menu. 

If you compare WB Montreal’s 2013 Batman game and the upcoming title, you can clearly notice the vast differences in visuals. Befitting for the latest consoles, WB has developed a game sharp in ray tracing, resolution upscaling, and faster rasterization. 

Gotham Knights will be available exclusively on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series. The high graphical demands of the game point out why it is not suited for last-gen consoles. 

It looks like Gotham Knights will be a visual treat for PC players. The storyline boasts of powerful villains pitted against the mighty heroes of Gotham. 

The initial gameplay teaser and lack of Caped Crusader left some fans disappointed, but character reveals have helped build up the hype. Hopefully, the action and plot will live up to fans’ expectations, shattering the age-old stigma of unsuccessful Batman games. 

Gotham Knights launches on October 21 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Gotham Knights is an upcoming action RPG being developed by WB Games Montreal and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The game borrows gameplay elements and styles from the Arkham trilogy but is not considered to be in the same timeline.
