Amazon Prime Gaming Free Games for October Includes Fallout 76 & More

Formerly called Twitch Prime, Amazon’s Prime Gaming is a subscription-based service that allows members to access a couple of new titles for free every month, including major games such as Assassin’s Creed Origins, which was included for the month of September.

According to a leaked report, Prime Gaming will be offering Fallout 76, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, Total War: Warhammer 2, Glass Masquerade, Loom, Hero’s Hour, and Horace for free in October.

An official announcement for October’s free games is expected soon. The lineup features one less game compared to September’s list but one more than the August series.

Prime Gaming is included with a regular Prime subscription plan. The general idea is similar to that of Epic Games, which brings in new users by giving them access to one or two free games every week.

Here’s an overview of some of the games:

Fallout 76

It is the latest installment in Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic RPG series. The game prioritizes multiplayer interaction, allowing fans to survive in the nuclear wasteland as a united front. Some major DLC like The Pitt were released earlier this year.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War

It is the sequel to the 2014 title Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, which was one of the free games for September. The plot continues the journey of Talion and Celebrimbor, featuring some intense combat in the battle against Sauron.

Total War: Warhammer 2

It is designed to give players a more strategic feel of the challenges an emperor faces to fight battles and secure lands.
