Xbox Posts Satirical Halloween Meme Targeting PlayStation Trolls

Xbox and PlayStation have been at war since ages. Both the companies are leading giants in the gaming industry, and their friendly banter often diffuses tense situations, such as the ongoing Activision Blizzard controversy.

Xbox posted a meme on Twitter throwing shade at PlayStation trolls who keep commenting “PlayStation is better” on their social media posts.

PlayStation and Xbox fans often clash with each other on social media platforms, arguing over which console is better. While the companies usually stay out of this discussion, Xbox chose to join in for once. The post gathered over 109.9K likes and 10.3K retweets within 24 hours of posting.

Some fans have responded negatively to the post, accusing Xbox of favoring PlayStation in order to bag the Activision Blizzard deal.

The most recent development in the deal is that the UK regulator CMA has disapproved of Microsoft’s acquisition, claiming it would give an unfair advantage to the Xbox owner.

Other organizations and governments have given Microsoft the green light. So, it is only a matter of time before the deal is concluded, although Microsoft is confident things would go according to them.
