A Plague Tale: Requiem to Follow Separate Releases for PC & Consoles

A Plague Tale: Requiem is the sequel to the 2019 title, A Plague Tale: Innocence, which was a massive hit among critics. The release date for Requiem was first announced during a Focus Entertainment stream in June. Since then, fans have eagerly awaited the return of the beloved sibling duo– Amicia and Hugo.

A Plague Tale: Requiem is all set to be released on October 18 for consoles and PC.

It was announced earlier that the release of the game would be handled differently, depending on whether fans are playing on consoles or PC.

The console versions will be released at midnight in the region’s local time. Meanwhile, the PC version will be released at precisely 0:00 CEST, which is the developer’s local time zone. So, the game will be available for PC users at different times of the day around the world.

This launch schedule can be a bit confusing, so the team at A Plague Tale: Requiem has posted a world map marked with the release times for major cities. A similar map for consoles is also posted alongside.

There are a lot of expectations for A Plague Tale: Requiem, given the studio’s several successful projects. The sequel will be available on multiple platforms, which is nothing short of a monumental task, so kudos to Asobo Studio. Hopefully, the game outshines its predecessor, much to our surprise.

A Plague Tale: Requiem launches on October 18 for PC, PS5, Switch, and Xbox Series X/S.
