Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 Finally Adds FOV Slider for Console Players

Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 is finally live for gamers, and available to play on consoles and PCs. It will introduce new features and improvements to the original Warzone.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 console players are pleased with the latest addition, the new Field of View (FOV) slider.

Reddit user @Alter771 shared the above image taken from the Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 menu, featuring the new FOV slider. The default FOV is set at 80, but players can go up to 120. Keep in mind, switching the FOV from default may lead to graphical issues, and even drop your frame rates.

Nevertheless, players are extremely happy with the change. The FOV slider was missing from the 2019 Warzone, which was strange since it has become a norm in first-person shooter games. Warzone developers did address the issue, claiming it would have introduced bugs on last-gen platforms, allowing current-gen owners to have the upper hand.

Although merely changing the FOV to the maximum 120 will not boost your gameplay skills, its effect will be most appreciated by those with a wide display monitor.

In 2019, players were required to install both Warzone and Modern Warfare, even if they were just interested in the latter. However, this time around, those who want to play just Modern Warfare 2, will not be required to download Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0. This reduces a bunch of unnecessary hassle, and storage space, since Call of Duty games often have massive file sizes.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
