AMD launched its Zen 4 architecture-based Ryzen 7000 series on September 27th. The lineup consists of four AM5 powered CPUs: Ryzen 9 7950X, Ryzen 9 7900X, Ryzen 7 7700X, and Ryzen 5 7600X. With the powerful speed of Zen 4 tech, Ryzen 7000 CPUs are said to be perfect for gamers and creators alike.
Starting off the Black Friday Week in the US, Newegg offered huge price cuts on AMD Ryzen 7000 series, with the top model, Ryzen 9 7950X, priced at $574.
There’s a major difference between Newegg’s prices and the original MSRP. The 16-core Ryzen 9 7950X is 17% cheaper at $573.99 compared to its original price of $699. Similarly, the Ryzen 9 7900X, earlier costing around $549, is now just $473.99.
The 8-core Ryzen 7 7700X, has a $51 discount, bringing down the original price of $399 by 12% to $348.99. The entry price for the AM5 platform series is $248.99 for the 6-core Ryzen 5 7600X, which is $51 cheaper than the original MSRP of $299.
Other US retailers, namely BestBuy and Amazon, have yet to lower their prices for the Ryzen desktop CPUs. MicroCenter has a special offer for in-store pickups, giving buyers a free 32GB DDR5 memory kit with their Ryzen 7000 purchases.
Similar price drops can be seen at European retailers as well. The flagship Ryzen 9 7950X now costs just €648, which is €201 less than the MSRP.
Ryzen 9 7900X is available for €538; its launch price was €669. The 8-core Ryzen 7 7700X dropped down to €398 from €479. The 6-core Ryzen 5 7600X is now €61 cheaper from €359 to just €298.

Even though it has been almost two months since the Ryzen 7000 series was launched, AMD does not plan to make these price cuts official. Seems like this is as cheap as it gets. So, get your hands on these AM5-powered, futuristic desktop CPUs while you can!
