Ubisoft is currently busy with several new projects under its Infinity Hub, such as Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Assassin’s Creed Red, Assassin’s Creed Jade, Assassin’s Creed Hexe, and a couple more.
According to rumors, there are some ongoing issues in the development of Assassin’s Creed Red.
A while back, few developers left Assassin’s Creed Red since they refused to work with Jonathan Dumont, who has been accused of abuse and harassment in Ubisoft. However, it is not confirmed whether the “issues” in question refer to this controversy.
Assassin’s Creed Red is an open-world RPG featuring a shinobi assassin, and set in Japan. Ubisoft has not revealed much about the game other than a single teaser. Assassin’s Creed Red is aiming for a 2024 release.
Assassin’s Creed Hexe is by far the most mysterious out of all Infinity projects. Fans are guessing the game is related to the Witch Hunts of Germany, and the Holy Roman Empire.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s lead writer, Darby McDevitt, is leading Hexe’s team, and everyone working on it has approved of its development so far. So, you can see Hexe is in a good stage. If things go as planned, it will soon begin full production. Assassin’s Creed Hexe might be released in 2026.
Ubisoft is yet to announce a final launch date for both Assassin’s Creed Red and Assassin’s Creed Hexe. Game development can be tricky, you never know when there might be a hurdle so, don’t set your expectations too high.
