Raven Software Temporarily Takes Down Heavy Chopper in Warzone 2.0

Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 has multiple opportunities where sharp-witted players can figure out ways to exploit the game. You can easily spot the ones which give an upper hand to anyone using it, the Heavy Chopper, for example.

Raven Software disabled the Heavy Chopper vehicle in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 for balancing purposes.

The Heavy Chopper is a unique vehicle which allows players to hover anywhere for copious amounts of time, letting them camp out entire matches mid-air, and only coming into play at the final stages of the match.

Now that the chopper is unavailable for use in Battle Royale gameplay modes, Raven Software is taking this time to figure out ways to bring back the flying combat platform without it trampling on other mediums. One possible solution is having a fixed time for how long the chopper can stay afloat.

It was disappointing enough that Combat Records got delayed so this news was not quite well received. However, a couple of Warzone 2 fans applauded Raven Software for taking the Heavy Chopper down temporarily. Those who are looking forward to its comeback can check out its live status on the game’s official Trello board.

Raven Software and Infinity Ward are also working towards bringing back missing features to the game. Of course, other than the Heavy Chopper, there’s also the persistent issue of the flying boat hacker in Warzone 2. Hopefully, there will be some action soon enough.
