Rumors Suggest Bethesda is Looking at an Early May Release for Redfall

Arkane Austin’s Redfall was initially supposed to launch in summer of 2022. However, the game was postponed along with Bethesda’s Starfield to 2023. Recent developments imply we might be getting the FPS game just before summer.

WindowsCentral encouraged earlier rumors suggesting that Redfall will now have a release date in early May.

Redfall

It is also very likely that a few selected editions of Redfall will grant early access to its users around late April, similar to Forza Horizon 5 Premium Edition.

Redfall is a one-of-its-kind cooperative first-person shooter game, allowing up to four players to join in on a session. Despite its unique experience, Creative Director Harvey Smith reassured that it would still be a classic simulation-like game for solo players. So, no single gameplay mode has the upper hand here.

Redfall

Redfall will be exclusively available on Xbox Series X/S and Windows PC. Game Pass subscribers will have access to the game from day one.

Both Redfall and Starfield are two of the biggest releases for next year. 2022 has been somewhat of a dormant year for the platform, even majorly missing out on The Game Awards. Xbox is planning to hold a showcase in early 2023. Hopefully, we will be getting some glimpses of Redfall at the event.
