AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT Reference Model now Costs Less than MSRP 

AMD Radeon RX 7900 series was launched at $899 and $999, for the XT and XTX variants, respectively. The XTX reference model is mostly out of stock, and has recently become infamous due to its overheating issues. 

AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT has been in stores since a while, and has even dropped to $879.99, almost $20 below MSRP.

Newegg is one of the first stores to implement this pricing, but only for the XFX MBA (Made by AMD) design. Just a while later, Mindfactory also joined in on this alteration.  

Radeon RX 7900 XT had been sitting dormant before the card started to lose value in EU markets over two weeks ago. From €1049 during launch, the graphics card dropped to €999 in less than two weeks.  

Another fortnight later, its price had decreased by an extra €10. In comparison to its original MSRP, the price was now 5.7% less. The card is now listed for €989.

AMD recently released a statement addressing the overheating issues of the Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics card. This has affected thousands of batches of reference design cards, leaving them futile.  

AMD is now offering an exchange or a refund to those hampered by the thermal trotting of Radeon RX 7900 XTX MBA cards. Thankfully, it has not damaged the XT variant with cut-down Navi 31 GPU.
