Intel launched the Core i5-13490F and Core i7-13790F, both 65W, for sale in China. These special edition models ship in distinctive black boxes and have slightly modified specs as compared to global versions.
Intel’s China-exclusive Core i7-13790F was tested in the CPU-Z benchmark with the i7-13700F.
In terms of performance, the i7-13790F scored 836 points and 12139.8 points in single and multi-thread tests, respectively.
The most notable difference between the two is the L3 cache size, which is more on the i7-13790F. This processor has 33MB, which is 3MB more than the i7-13700F.
Core i7-13790F will be a 16-core processor (8P+8E). This configuration was also seen in the i7-13700F. Even the max turbo clocks for Performance and Efficient cores are the same, at 5.2 GHz and 4.1 GHz, respectively.
The CPU is listed at 2999 RMB i.e. roughly 441.50 USD. The i7-13700F costs 2899 RMB or $426 after conversion. However, people buying from other countries will have a hard time getting this processor.
Not many reviews are available for the Core i7-13700F so there isn’t much scope for comparison. Hopefully, with the coming days, there will be more reports coming in.
