Grand Theft Auto 5 has received multiple re-releases and new updated content. However, Rockstar Games has kept a tight check on GTA 6. The title is in development, but there has been no other news apart from its status. An accidental leak did reveal plenty of gameplay footage which left the entire GTA community in shock.
50 Cent posted an Instagram photo featuring a bright pink logo which states “Vice City,” the setting where GTA 6 is supposedly set in. Although there was no explanation given, this hints at the rapper’s involvement in the upcoming Grand Theft Auto title.
Fans were quick to form theories as to what this post could mean. Some stated that this announcement is for an upcoming Grand Theft Auto TV show while others are saying that it means the rapper will be a part of GTA 6.
50 Cent has been a part of video games before. So, it wouldn’t be surprising if we spot the rapper in Grand Theft Auto 6, whether as an interesting side character or maybe as a quick cameo.
Video game companies are known to rope in celebrities to promote their upcoming projects. For example, Keanu Reeves has both starred and promoted Cyberpunk 2077 intensively in 2019. 50 Cent doing the same for Grand Theft Auto 6 is highly possible.
There’s also the chance that GTA 6 might just include some of 50 Cent’s music. GTA titles have really good soundtracks so given the next game’s delinquent theme, having 50 Cent on board makes sense. Whatever might be happening, it looks like we will have to wait a bit more for official news.
