Developers Confirm that Diablo 4’s Druid Class will not be Redesigned

Diablo 4’s open beta test was a huge success. The result was tons of helpful feedback about the game. One of the issues highlighted by fans was the Druid class, which was deemed weak and bulky. Many lobbied for a remodel featuring a slimmer Druid. Looks like the developers have finally responded to this complaint.

Diablo 4’s Lead Class Designer, Adam Jackson, and Lead Game Producer, Melissa Corning, have clarified that there are no future plans for the redesign of the Druid class. This is because the devs want to ensure that each character is visually unique.

Diablo 4 features several character classes, each with their own abilities and appearances. While development, the primary objective was to achieve a distinct feel with every class. This was made possible by utilizing individual visual designs, in-game abilities, and animations.

As mentioned by Corning, a significant thought has gone into the characters’ customization and designs. Diablo 4 also offers exclusive gear pieces for each class. The designers guarantee that all equipment will look stunning, no matter how the character is customized. These costumes also help in easy identification of every class during gameplay.

There is another beta test event titled Diablo 4 Server Slam weekend scheduled to take place from May 12th till May 14th. Those who missed out on the first beta weekend can take part in the upcoming one. It will be a trial run of all the changes done so far to the game.

Diablo 4 is scheduled to launch on June 6th for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PS5.
