AMD Radeon RX 7600 w/ Navi 33 XL GPU is now Available on Newegg

AMD Radeon RX 7600 is based on RDNA3 graphics architecture, featuring a Navi 33 XL GPU with 2048 Stream Processors. Now that the embargo has been lifted and reviewers have received their samples distributed by AMD, we can expect performance reports to start flooding in.

After months of anticipation, the AMD Radeon RX 7600 is now finally available on Newegg. AMD made a last-minute decision to change the MSRP from $299 to $269. This is the cheapest and newest model released by AMD this year.

The RX 7600 has 8GB of GDDR6 memory which seems insufficient to certain gamers. Given that the RX 7600 is almost equivalent to the last-gen RX 6700 RDNA2 based graphics card, one would expect similar, if not more, memory capacity.

Apart from the disappointing memory, the RX 7600 uses a 128-bit memory bus with limited PCIe Gen4 interface on 8 lanes. It is only obvious that performance will be affected, especially if your system uses the older Gen3 interface.

AMD board partners have one or two custom RX 7600 graphics cards prepared for launch. However, compared to this, there are at least four times more custom RTX 4060 Ti cards announced.

Here are the specs for the AMD Radeon RX 7600:

  • Architecture RDNA3 (TSMC N6)
  • GPU Navi 33 XL
  • GPU Clusters 32 CUs
  • FP32 Cores 2048
  • Game Clock 2250 MHz
  • Boost Clock 2625 MHz
  • Memory 8GB G6
  • Memory Bus 128-bit
  • Memory Speed 18 Gbps
  • Bandwidth 288 GB/s
  • Board Power 165W
  • Power Connectors 1x 8-pin
  • PCIe Interface Gen4 x8
  • MSRP $269/€299

While some might argue that the RX 7600 is not rightly priced, it is significantly better than before. Not counting the Intel Arc cards, the RX 7600 is the cheapest graphics card on the market featuring the latest technology. As more reviews start pouring in, we will get a better idea of how the AMD GPU prevails.
