Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade is an open-world mobile game set in Ancient China during the Qin Dynasty era. For the first time ever, players can create their own assassin protagonist using the character creation feature implemented in the game. While Ubisoft has been pretty quiet about it, it looks like fans can finally get a good glimpse of the upcoming title.
Ubisoft has officially announced that a closed beta for Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade will be taking place from August 3rd. Players can head to the official website to sign up and participate in the closed beta.
To participate, head over to the official site for Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade and click on ‘REGISTER & SUBSCRIBE’. Enter your email address as prompted and you will receive an access code via mail. Once you receive your code, you will have less than a minute to enter it in the registration page.

Ubisoft and Level Infinite have teamed up to publish Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade as a step towards a long-term strategic relationship between Tencent and Ubisoft. The primary goal is to deliver exciting and memorable gaming experiences to the fans around the world.
Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade will take you years back in time to the imperial capital of Xianyang. Players will be tasked with defending the Great Wall and uncovering the hidden secrets of the terracotta warriors.

For the first time in franchise history, Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade will feature a character creation suite with added customization. While this has been long overdue in the series, fans did not expect this ability to be available so soon.
Ubisoft is yet to announce a release date for Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade. However, fans have plenty to look forward to as Assassin’s Creed Mirage is just round the corner with its launch scheduled for August 12th.
