Grand Theft Auto 6 Leaked Gameplay Footage Features Police Chase

Grand Theft Auto 6 already has a lot riding on it, given the golden history of the iconic Grand Theft Auto series. Whatever information is available about the upcoming title hints at a promising game worth every penny. Thanks to a recent leak, we might have a first look at some gameplay footage from GTA 6.

Twitter user @RockstarGTAVI has uploaded a video featuring a police chase sequence from Grand Theft Auto 6. The short clip shows the player and multiple police vehicles in pursuit with the former shooting at the police from the back of a truck.

The newly surfaced clip shows the police in GTA VI which has been the highlight since a while. The police AI has been completely overhauled as compared to what we saw in GTA V. In the upcoming title, the police are expected to be smarter, more responsive, and more dangerous to the player itself.

However, as seen in the video, one police car careened to the side for no apparent reason. So, this video might just belong to a test run for GTA VI.

Certainly, this is a major improvement from GTA V where the police reportedly materialized out of thin air. This led to some major problems in bypassing the forces.

Although the leaked gameplay footage from GTA VI seems legit, it might just be a trial run. Take-Two Interactive hinted at a 2025 release for Grand Theft Auto 6 so it looks like an official reveal might be due soon.
