Assassin’s Creed Mirage to launch on October 5th, announces Ubisoft

Ubisoft is currently working on multiple titles from the Assassin’s Creed franchise. Out of these, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the one to watch out for, which is scheduled to release very soon. After a long break of 3 years, fans can finally dive back into the lore of Assassins.

Ubisoft has changed the release date for Assassin’s Creed Mirage, moving it up to October 5th. Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which is set in 9th century Baghdad, will be launching a week early.

Whenever there’s a date change announcement, fans usually expect there to be a delay. However, to everyone’s surprise, Ubisoft actually shifted the release date so that fans can enjoy Assassin’s Creed Mirage a week earlier than planned.

As seen in the official Twitter announcement, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is ‘Gone Gold’ which essentially means that the game has been shipped. There won’t be any further delays or changes until it is finally launched.

It was recently confirmed that Mirage will feature microtransactions. Many players were expecting this feature to be missing from the game since it was absent from the older Assassin’s Creed titles as well.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage

Ubisoft’s decision to move up the release date could be a measure against the busy launch schedule in October. There are many releases lined up including Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Forza Motorsport, Lords of the Fallen, Alan Wake 2, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and more. The new release date would give fans enough buffer time to enjoy the game before the other releases roll in.
