The first season of Diablo 4 is titled Season of the Malignant. It showcases the story of a deadly plague which almost destroyed The Sanctuary. Blizzard introduced Season and Eternal Realms along with several other features. Now that an update is just around the corner, Blizzard has released some interesting new info about the second season of Diablo 4.
Blizzard has officially announced the second season of Diablo 4 which is titled Season of Blood with a brand-new trailer. It is scheduled to release on October 17th. The season will feature a vampiric dark lord commanding an army of vampires to decimate Sanctuary for reasons unknown to the audience.
Players will need to master their vampiric abilities to battle against the enemies. Season of Blood will also introduce Erys, a Vampire Hunter companion, who is voiced by the talented Gemma Chan.
The upcoming season will also feature a new quest line. Whether or not it is related to the aftermath of Lilith’s defeat remains unconfirmed. Nevertheless, it looks like it will be promising and worth the time.
Season of Blood will have 5 endgame bosses, both new and returning. Players can also target farm-specific Uniques and Uber Uniques in Diablo 4 for Seasonal and Eternal Realm characters. The highly-requested Stash filter feature will also be introduced in Season 2.
The next seasonal update will also address another player complaint– Gems taking up too much inventory space. As a solution, Blizzard will be transferred to the Materials tab, as announced earlier. Other changes include reworked damage systems, carrying forward of Renown rewards, Skill Points, Paragon Board, and Potion charges to the next season.
All the information available so far about the second season of Diablo 4 is just a fragment of what it entails. As we come closer to the final launch date, players can expect to be treated to more such sneak peeks of the Season of Blood.
