Meta Quest 3 Release Date, Pricing, Tech Specs, and more revealed

The Meta Quest 3 was unveiled at the Meta Quest Gaming Showcase 2023 back in June. However, its primary features and pricing were kept a secret until now. Meta and Reality Labs have finally revealed the specs of the Meta Quest 3 headset along with its release date and cost.

Meta Quest 3 is all set to be launched on October 10th. The headset will come in two variants– 128GB and 512GB, which are both priced at $499.99 and $649.99, respectively. It will offer players an extraordinary new experience in mixed reality.

The Meta Quest 3 weighs a hefty 515 grams which is just a little more than its predecessor. It comes with six advanced camera sensors; 8 GB of RAM and an LCD monitor with a resolution of 2064×2209.

The VR headset uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon Xr2 chipset and has a 120Hz refresh rate. The controls have also been redesigned to boost efficiency. Meta Quest 3 supports a 6E Wi-Fi signal for seamless gameplay.

Surprisingly, the battery life of the Meta Quest 3 is nothing spectacular. With a full charge, players can enjoy up to 2.5 hours of gaming. This is similar to the Meta Quest 2 which offers 2 hours of usage when fully charged.
