With just a month left for the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, fans are starting to make space for the much-awaited AAA title. As expected, it comes with a ton of exciting content including new features, a thrilling campaign, open-world Zombies mode, and much more.
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 beta itself is 24GB but players will be required to download the Call of Duty HQ base file which is estimated to be around 100GB. So, to take part in the beta, you will need around 125GB of storage space.
However, if you already play Call of Duty, you will need to download just the beta since the base files will already be present on your system. The Call of Duty HQ hub was launched a few days back. It allows players to download whatever content they need, making it much more convenient when dealing with multiple CoD titles.
Of course, the massive file size of Modern Warfare 3 is a reason for concern. Limited storage has always been a persisting issue for players since modern titles usually come with a hefty file size. Luckily, you can manage files in Call of Duty as per your needs. For example, once you’re done with the campaign, simply delete the concerned files to make space for something else.
Activision is all set to launch the popular Rust map in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The map will be fully revealed during the CODNext event on October 5th which will also feature Call of Duty MW3 Multiplayer, Zombies, Call of Duty Warzone, Warzone Mobile and much more. It has also been confirmed that Rust will be featured in the beta.
The upcoming Call of Duty livestream will shed light on what players can expect from the next installment in the franchise. Along with new features, Modern Warfare 3 will also bring back reimagined maps and more from previous titles. The first phase of open beta kicks off on October 6th, just a day after CODNext.
